The Montag Fine Candle Company fundraising program allows your organization to take advantage of our high quality, wonderfully fragranced candles! With the program, you can offer all sizes of our candles in every one of our fragrances.  This equates to more choices for the customer which will lead to more sales for your organization!  We will provide you with all the order sheets and sales information as well as our full color candle catalogs to help with your sales.  With all this, your organization should be well on its way to a very profitable fundraiser.  Almost every one of our fundraiser participants have told us that ours has been the most successful program their group has ever done.  Let us show you how we can help your group!



What we will need from you….
All that we need from you to get started is the names, addresses, and phone numbers of the contacts responsible for your fundraiser as well as the number of fundraising members.

What you will get from us….
You will receive individual order forms for all participants of the fundraiser, individual full color Montag Fine Candle Company product catalogs, and a final tally form that the fundraiser director will give to us when the fundraiser is over. Once we receive your final tally form, we will then prepare your order which will be delivered to you within 7-10 business days  (Fall orders may take a few extra days as that is the busiest time of year).

How to accept payment….
As the participants of the fundraiser collect orders, we suggest that they also collect payment.  Be sure to have all individual checks made out to your organization (not Montag Fine Candle).  Once we have received a payment in full for the entire order, we will then release your order to you.  We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and checks.  If your organization has an Oklahoma Sales Tax Permit we will need a current copy for our files, otherwise you will be responsible for sales tax. 



Fund Raising Success Tips

Be sure to collect all payments in full at the time of sale. This makes getting the final payment to us quicker which helps get the candles to your customers faster.  This also keeps your customers from changing their minds after placing their order.  Remember, no orders will be shipped until we have received payment in full.

Always show the customers the candle catalog. When customers can see the products you are selling they are more likely to purchase. 

Run the fundraiser for at least 2 – 3 weeks. This allows for plenty of time for all the participants to get out and sell the candles.  We ask that you keep the duration of the fundraiser no longer than 4 weeks.

When you receive your candles from us, be sure to not leave them in a hot vehicle or in the direct sunlight for an extended period of time.  The high heat can melt the candle and direct bright sunlight for an extended period can discolor the candles.  Montag Fine Candle is not responsible for damaged or melted candles.

Remind your customers of how wonderful their homes will smell once they receive our candles!

Please contact Montag Fine Candle Company for the pricing structure on fundraisers.

Basically you sell the candle, pay us your cost, and the rest is yours for your organization!  It is as easy as that!  Tax will be due as well if you do not provide a current Oklahoma Sales Tax Permit.
